Here is how ChristmasGiftAdvisor.com researches, writes and updates its gift advice.
What our advice is based on
Our guides are based on research into what makes a gift useful and appreciated: how people use different kinds of products, common reasons gifts go unused, etiquette for workplace and family exchanges, and information published by manufacturers and retailers.
What we will not do
- Claim we tested or used a product when we did not.
- Publish invented reviews, ratings, quotes or prices.
- Copy product descriptions or other publishers’ articles.
- Accept payment for including or ranking a product.
AI tools
We use AI writing tools to help draft and structure some articles. A person reviews and edits every article before publication, checks claims against sources and removes anything that cannot be supported.
Prices and products
Budget guides discuss what you can expect at a price level; they do not quote retailer prices, which change constantly. Always check the current price before you buy.
Updates and corrections
We review guides before each holiday season. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
